Our client based in Saffron Walden is seeking a Production Engineer to join their team on a full time, permanent basis.

As a Production Engineer your duties will include:

• Designing/implementing jigs, tools to improve manufacturing efficiency
• Providing support across departments to resolve manufacturing issues
• Managing 3D printing, supporting equipment maintenance
• Leading engineering meetings and project tasks
• Produce technical drawings on Solid Works, liaising with customers when required
• Troubleshoot assemblies.

An ideal candidate for the Production Engineer will have:

• 5+ years experience in a similar role
• Good understanding of quality systems
• Strong communications skills
• Experience with producing drawings in Solid Works
• IT literacy as well as ERP experience.
