Job Summary:Are you an expert in organization and customer service? If so, this opportunity will be the best option for you! The Arizona Department of Corrections, Rehabilitation & Reentry (ADCRR) is looking for a master multitasker individual with excellent communication skills and a great attitude to perform a variety of complex administrative tasks for the Warden and staff. This position will include researching administrative matters, preparing reports, completing special projects, responding to correspondence on administrative matters and maintaining Warden’s operating budget at the Arizona State Prison Complex - Safford / Fort Grant.

- Researches and compiles reports, letters, inquiries, and policy updates
- Manages supervisor calendar
- Sets deadlines
- Supervises subordinate staff
- Researches material and gathers data for special projects
- Maintains inventory control, develops or modifies procedures and forms, interprets and explains organizational rules, regulations and department orders
- Attends meetings

Knowledge of:
- Arizona Department of Administration (ADOA) Personnel rules and Arizona Department of Corrections, Rehabilitation & Reentry (ADCRR) policies and procedures
- Grammatical formatting using concise, specific and grammatically correct non-technical language
- Organization movement, management of business practices and work processing

Employment is contingent on the selected applicant passing a background investigation and a drug test.
In an effort to maintain a safe environment, all employees are required to take a Tuberculosis (TB) test during their New Employee Orientation and every year thereafter.
If this position requires driving or the use of a vehicle as an essential function of the job, then the following requirements apply. Any employee operating a motor vehicle on State business must possess and retain a current, valid class-appropriate driver’s license, complete all required training, and successfully pass all necessary driver’s license record checks. The license must be current, unexpired, and neither revoked nor suspended.
