Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Dispatcher to join our team. The Dispatcher will be responsible for coordinating transportation activities to ensure efficient and timely deliveries.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze transportation needs and coordinate logistics for optimal delivery routes
• Communicate with drivers, customers, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations
• Utilize transportation management systems to track shipments and update schedules
• Coordinate with transportation management systems such as Syte Line and AS400
• Work closely with supply chain partners to optimize delivery processes
• Monitor GPS systems to track vehicle locations and ensure on-time deliveries
• Collaborate with third-party logistics providers (3PL) for efficient transportation solutions

Requirements:

• Proficient in transportation planning and management
• Strong analytical skills to optimize delivery routes and schedules
• Knowledge of transportation management systems like Syte Line and AS400
• Familiarity with GPS tracking systems for monitoring vehicle locations
• Understanding of supply chain principles for effective coordination

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week

Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Holidays

Experience:

Dispatching: 1 year (Preferred)

Ability to Commute: Sacramento, CA (Required)
