Location: Remote but will need to travel to Sacramento
Duration: 2 year contract
Compensation: $65 - $70 (based on experience)
Must haves- 6+ years of experience in Software Development
- Strong experience with .NET/C#
- Hands on experience with Data systems such as Kafka/Kinesis, Elasticsearch, SQL
- Hands on experience with deployment tooling like Docker, Kubernetes and/or Hel
- Strong experience with AWS
- Experience with Terraform and/or ArgoCD
- Experience with Security tools like OAuth/OIDC
In this role, the Staff Software Engineer is responsible for owning the technical success of a product or service area by driving architecture, quality, and delivery outcomes. They lead the architectural design of services and ensure seamless integration across the broader platform ecosystem while remaining hands‑on in writing and reviewing production‑level code for complex features. The position requires maintaining high engineering standards through testing, monitoring, and operational best practices, as well as debugging and resolving issues across distributed systems.
The engineer mentors mid‑ and senior‑level developers, collaborates closely with product, design, and engineering partners, and translates complex technical concepts into clear, actionable guidance. They also contribute to improving developer experience, system reliability, and overall performance across the organization.
$65 to $70
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
