The successful candidate will be willing and able to:
- Provide direct medical care to patients in underserved communities, including physical exams, medication management, and referrals to other medical providers.
- Build relationships with patients and work to understand their needs.
- Connect patients to other resources in the community, such as housing, food, and employment.
- Advocate for patients rights and work to improve the quality of their lives.
- Participate in outreach and education activities to raise awareness of the health needs of patients in underserved communities.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
- Complete all required paperwork and reports.

Eligibility: Benefits are available to employees working 30+ hours per week
, effective the first of the month following 30 days of employment.
Compensation Disclosure: MD/DO: $212,160 - $275,808 annually & NP/PA: $131,040 - $170,352 annually. The compensation range listed reflects Elica’s good-faith estimate of the anticipated hiring range for this position in accordance with California pay transparency requirements. Final compensation will be determined based on job-related factors, including relevant experience, education, certifications, skills, and qualification.
Language Skills (Preferred) Bilingual or multilingual communication skills in English and Russian, Farsi, Pashto/Pushto, or Spanish are preferred to support the needs of the communities we serve, where more than 50% of patients report a primary language other than English.
RequirementsNurse Practitioner:
- Current California RN/NP/NPF License.
- Current Nurse Practitioner board certification.
- At least 1-2 years of clinical experience working with underserved, low-income persons or homeless persons preferred.
- Current BLS and DEA certification
- Bilingual in English and Russian, Farsi, Pashto/Pushto, or Spanish speaking preferred
Physician Assistant:
- California Physician Assistant License
- Physician Assistant Certificate
- NCCPA board certification
- At least 1-2 years of clinical experience working with underserved, low-income persons or homeless persons preferred.
- Current BLS and DEA certification
- Bilingual in English and Russian, Farsi, Pashto/Pushto, or Spanish speaking preferred
