The Inclusion Way company is uniquely positioned for rapid growth throughout California. We seek individuals with the right heart who align with our Core Values:
Humility, Enthusiasm, Adaptability, Resiliency, and Trustworthiness. The leaders of The Inclusion Way are committed to growing the business through growing our people. The Inclusion Way company aims to provide fulfillment and financial freedom for our employees by delivering life-transforming community engagement services for intellectually and developmentally disabled adults.
Work-Life Balance
A pod leader's work-life balance involves adjusting the time and mental capacity for work and life outside work. Ideally, this critical approach should allow employees to effectively complete all tasks and assignments required at work while having the energy to spend on personal interests, hobbies, family, and friends or relax.
A typical pod leader schedule is Monday through Friday, 9:00 to 5:00. Because The Inclusion Way's mission centers on providing community integration opportunities for pod members, occasional activities are scheduled on weeknights and Saturdays for pod participation. In these instances, the program manager will adjust work schedules accordingly or allow overtime pay to be earned.
Location & Commute
Most pod members are provided transportation services through the state to and from a specific program location established by the company. Pod leaders arrive on location ahead of clients and stay until they are picked up at the end of daily programming. In some instances, pod leaders participate in picking up and returning pod members home.
We are required by law to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We are also required to measure our progress toward having at least 7% of our workforce be individuals with disabilities. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had a disability. Because a person may become disabled at any time, we ask all of our employees to update their information at least every five years.
Identifying yourself as an individual with a disability is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer will be maintained confidentially and not be seen by selecting officials or anyone else involved in making personnel decisions. Completing the form will not negatively impact you in any way, regardless of whether you have self‑identified in the past.
