This position is for a full-time Maintenance Technician I to work at On Broadway, a 140-unit affordable family housing community in Sacramento, CA. This is a Tax Credit PSH, and PBV property. Qualified candidates must have 1+ year of related apartment maintenance experience, knowledge and skills in plumbing, electrical and general maintenance. Must have a CADL, clean DMV record and reliable transportation.
Must have basic computer knowledge. Salary range: $18.90 - $28.80 per hour; hiring range for new employees is generally $18.90 - $23.85 per hour, DOE. Please note an offer will take into consideration the experience of the final candidate and the current salary level of individuals working at EAH in a similar role.
- Basic Plumbing including toilet, faucet and minor pipe repair
- Painting including preparation, sanding and color matching
- Electrical repairs including light switches, cords, ballasts, bulbs and circuit breakers
- Lock replacement/adjustment, bolt installation, window locks, latches and keys
- Screen door repair and replacement, sheetrock repair when needed
- Detailing turnover units, completing within 5 days
- 1+ year of related apartment maintenance experience
- Knowledge and skills in plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance
- CADL, clean DMV and reliable transportation
EAH Housing conducts criminal background checks on all candidates who have received a conditional job offer. You will be required to submit and pass our criminal background requirements. EAH also verifies education and employment history. Any verified discrepancy may delay background check results and/or affect eligibility to work tain roles may require fingerprinting. If onsite housing is a requirement, household members over 18 who live onsite with the candidate must also undergo a criminal background check and tenant screening.
Satisfactory completion of background check and fingerprinting is a requirement of employment with EAH.
EAH Housing requires all candidates who have received a conditional job offer to submit to drug testing within 72 hours of acceptance of the job offer. EAH Housing does not test for marijuana/cannabis. Satisfactory completion of drug testing is a requirement of employment with EAH.
