This job will train you on how to troubleshoot, repair, and implement field modifications, working directly with customers to achieve reliability and satisfaction throughout the warranty period. Field Service Technician (Philadelphia)
What Your Day-to-day Will Look Like
- Commission and support warranty operations for locomotives and coaches
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues
- Use diagnostic software and laptops for system assessments
- Interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and circuit plans
- Document failures, repairs, and modifications
- Implement Field Modifications (FMIs) to improve quality
- Communicate with team members and site leads
- Follow all company and industry safety procedures

Additional Qualifications / Responsibilities- High school diploma (or GED)
- Interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team
- Valid Driver's license in good standing
- Ability to read and understand schematics, maintenance, repair, and FMI documents
- Basic computer skills and work in Microsoft Office. SAP is a plus
- Willingness to work various shifts and days off
- Ability to work independently and without much supervision
- Ability to work safely, report hazards, and recognize risks

Compensation & LocationThe base salary range for this position in Pennsylvania is $56,712.00 - $76,602.00. The salary may be higher or lower depending on the budget and the candidate's experience, knowledge, skills, and qualifications.
