This is a hands‑on, field‑based opportunity working in clean, temperature‑controlled commercial environments on critical power systems. This is not residential work and not a big corporate environment. This is your opportunity to work with a closely held team that is growing, where you matter.
You will bring your electrical skills to challenging commercial projects including UPS systems, data centers, generators, and power distribution. Your days are spent bending pipe, pulling wire, and working exclusively with three‑phase commercial power.
Commercial Electrician– Job Duties
You will work on commercial electrical projects throughout the Northern California area, performing work on critical power projects.
- Install uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems, generators, and power distribution systems
- Bend and install EMT conduit of all sizes, including large diameter conduit up to four inches
- Design and build conduit rack systems
- Install cable tray systems and computer room grounding systems
- Install branch circuits and terminate conductors within distribution panels
- Perform paralleling circuitry installations
- Calculate amperage loads to meet applicable electrical codes
- Perform high‑press splicing and insulation of electrical circuitry
- Pull long runs of large conductor feeders
- Read and interpret commercial electrical drawings and specifications
- Work safely and collaboratively with other electricians on active commercial jobsites
- Active Journeyman Electrician certification or card
- Prior experience with commercial electrical work
- Prior experience with three‑phase commercial power systems
- Prior experience installing and bending EMT conduit and pipe
- Prior experience working on UPS systems, data centers, or critical power infrastructure
- Strong understanding of commercial electrical codes and load calculations
- Ability to lift, push, and pull materials up to 70 pounds
Your pay will be $50.00 to $60.00 per hour, paid hourly and overtime eligible.
This is a full‑time opportunity with steady commercial work, weekday scheduling.
