What do our Termite Technicians do?Termite Technicians use their expertise to protect customers' properties from wood‑destroying organisms. As the first line of defense, you will conduct inspections, prevention, and treatment services to provide peace of mind and comfort for our customers.
Responsibilities- Identify customer’s termite problems and determine remedial steps based on termite behaviors and habits.
- Perform termite treatment services safely and according to company guidelines and standard practices.
- Apply anti‑termite treatments to structures following safety procedures and label instructions.
- Communicate critical conditions that foster termite activity to customers, discuss procedures, and suggest structural modifications.
- Verify that job specifications match each work order.
- Operate and maintain service vehicles and equipment.
- Complete production forms documenting services provided.
- Interact with customers and explain services delivered.
- Tolerate a variety of environmental conditions, including seasonal weather, damp and/or dusty locations.
- Prepare the job site for treatment.
- Enter and exit structures and crawl spaces; climb on and over structures; ascend and descend stairs and ladders.
- Work comfortably in confined spaces up to 20 feet on a ladder.
- Hold general labor, carpentry, cement, roofing, gutter, and attic experience (plus).
- Access roofs and high areas as needed.
- Move frequently – sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, using stairs, ladders, scaffolding, ramps, and poles.
- Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) such as an OSHA‑compliant respirator and handle confined spaces and narrow aisles safely.
- Clean shaven face for safety (rebreathers must seal properly).
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid driver’s license from the state of residence (company vehicle and gas card provided).
- At least 1 year of customer service or termite control experience (plus).
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Flexible work hours, Monday‑Friday and Saturdays as needed.
- Licenses/certificates required by federal, state, and/or local regulations (covered by us).
- Basic math skills – addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to follow instructions for mixing on product labels.
Hourly: $20.00 – $23.00
