Key Responsibilities- Install, configure, and maintain security cameras, access control systems, and related hardware/software.
- Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostics to resolve system malfunctions or connectivity issues.
- Ensure proper wiring, networking, and integration of security systems into existing infrastructure.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to optimize system performance.
- Read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics to complete installations accurately.
- Work closely with project managers and clients to ensure system functionality meets requirements.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and industry regulations.
- Train customers and team members on proper use and maintenance of security systems.
- Maintain detailed service records, reports, and documentation for all projects.
- Travel to various job sites within Southern California as needed.
- Experience working with security camera systems and access control technologies (Hikvision, Axis, Avigilon, Honeywell, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of low‑voltage wiring, networking, and electrical components.
- Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair security system issues efficiently.
- Experience reading and interpreting blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
- Familiarity with IP‑based and analog security systems.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites.
- Previous experience in commercial construction, security system installation, or facility maintenance.
- Certifications in security systems, access control, or low‑voltage wiring (preferred but not required).
