Provide customer service to visitors and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.;
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and reporting concerns to site leadership and/or public agency contacts as directed.;
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter gates to help to deter unwanted activity.;
Monitor access points and observe for unauthorized entry, suspicious behavior, and/or property damage, escalating issues per post orders and communicating via radio and/or phone.;
Complete required logs, incident reports, and patrol activity records, and assist with crowd control and/or public information direction during high-traffic periods as assigned.
