Garda World Security Services is now hiring a Response Security Officer to serve as a drive patrol security officer in Sacramento, CA. The role requires adaptability to varying responsibilities such as customer service, patrols, and surveillance.

  • Tuesday – Wednesday, 9:00 pm – 6:00 am (16 hrs)
  • Thursday – Saturday, 5:30 pm – 6:30 am (36 hrs)
  • Sunday, 5:30 pm – 6:30 am;
    Monday, 7:00 pm – 4:00 am;
    Tuesday – Wednesday, 10:00 pm – 7:00 am (36 hrs)
• Competitive hourly wage of $18 per hour

• Monitor premises to ensure security.
• Conduct patrols to spot suspicious activity.
• Control access points and verify identities.
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats.
• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining security norms.
• Write detailed reports on events and incidents.
• Collaborate with authorities during serious situations.
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property.

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be 21 years old and able to pass a comprehensive Motor Vehicle check.
• Six months of mobile patrol security experience required.
• Fluent writing skills.
• Must pass extensive screening process.
• Ability to think quickly and adapt to changing situations.
• Responsive problem-solving skills.
• Previous security, military, or law‑enforcement experience is an advantage.
• Hold a BSIS Guard Card and 32‑hour BSIS security training (additional training can be provided during hiring).
