GeneralDescription
This position will be responsible for the development and industry-compliant execution of a strategic publication plans.
Essential Functions Of The Job- Engage and collaborates with internal colleagues as well as external experts, investigators, journals, conference organizers, and external partners.
- Collaborates with regional affiliates to develop and maintain an integrated external scientific communication plan.
- Provide publications support for hematology and oncology pipeline development, focusing on malignant hematology.
- Will facilitate and drive cross-functional development of scientific statements and lexicon and contribute to the overall scientific communication strategy, demonstrating a strong knowledge of the therapeutic landscape.
- Responsible for ensuring ethical compliance with Bei Gene policy and external publications guidelines.
- Ensure that all publications represent transparent and balanced communications that enhance external scientific reputation of Bei Gene.
- Demonstrated experience in medical communications gained through working within other biotech/pharmaceutical companies or a medical communications agency
- High level of English communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, organizational, and cross functional collaboration skills.
- Experience in hematology/oncology strongly preferred; candidates with experience in other related therapeutic areas (i.e. immunology) may be considered if they demonstrate clear potential to apply their existing skills to oncology.
- Understand published guidelines for authorship and good publication practices.
- Experience with a global publications database management system (eg, PubSTRAT, Data Vision, etc.) preferred.
- Ability to effectively collaborate in a dynamic and global environment.
- Strong comprehension of disease states, and knowledge of differential algorithms for treatment decisions and experience in disease states of interest to Bei Gene.
- An expert understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, the country health care system, regional cancer care models and the impact on patient care
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- PC literacy required; MS Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Veeva).
- Advanced scientific degree (MS, MD, Pharm
D, or PhD) or an equivalent level of professional, clinical and/or scientific education, training and experience preferred. - Experience in the therapeutic area of hematology/oncology preferred.

- Must be able to hit the ground running with limited training.
This is the pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay for this position: $64.29/hour - $85.71/hour
