Job Overview

Citadel Roofing & Solar is seeking a driven and experienced Outside Energy Consultant to join our residential sales team. You’ll build relationships with homeowners, identify their roofing and energy needs, and present customized solar and battery solutions that deliver the best value and performance.

Remote – Preferably based in Northern California

Reports To:

Solar Sales Manager

• Meet and exceed monthly sales goals
• Qualify leads, design systems, and close deals
• Conduct in-home consultations to educate homeowners
• Follow up on company-provided and self-generated leads
• Generate referrals through exceptional customer experiences
• Negotiate contracts with professionalism and integrity
• Maintain CRM pipeline and update customer records
• Partner with operations for a smooth installation process

• Preferably 2+ years of roofing, solar, or construction sales experience
• Preferably in-home sales experience
• Proven ability to manage a full sales cycle
• Strong presentation, communication, and negotiation skills
• Highly organized and proficient with CRM and Microsoft Office
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently
• Willing to travel frequently throughout Northern California
• Clean DMV record (no DUIs within the past 5 years)
