Responsibilities
  • Fulfill sales strategies by selling current and potential new oncology therapeutics.
  • Demonstrate a working knowledge of the products' clinical efficacy, provide clinical support/information as needed, and achieve sales quota.
  • Conduct business analysis, actively prospect for new business within assigned territory, and develop account strategies with District Manager to increase sales.
  • Develop customer‑specific pre‑ and post‑call plans that include objectives, probes, and supporting materials.
  • Build customer dedication, identify and cultivate new relationships, and influence decision‑makers with accurate clinical information.
  • Use resources appropriately while collaborating with JNJ Innovative Medicine team members to share ideas and enhance results.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of assigned specialty products and related markets in all relevant areas.
  • Understand the healthcare delivery system within each assigned account, including physician hierarchy and key pharmacy personnel.
  • Stay current on reimbursement, sales potential, patient mix, managed care organizations, and new protocols that impact business potential.
  • Attend all required sales meetings; complete training curriculum in a timely manner; maintain compliance, expense reporting, and call reporting.
  • Drive multiple myeloma CAR‑T brand choice and demand among institution‑based oncology customers.
  • Drive clinical and product education and awareness of CAR‑T therapy to community‑based providers.
  • Understand J&J and competitor products in the therapeutic area and disease state complexities.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Medical Affairs, Market Access, Operations, Quality, and other stakeholders to meet customer needs.
  • Provide insights to cross‑functional teams on feedback from HCP interactions and account trends.
  • Educate CTC stakeholders on J&J’s CAR‑T therapy and communicate latest messaging and clinical data.
  • Navigate complex account environments and triage to internal stakeholders for support.
  • Deliver exemplary customer service while participating in grassroots advocacy and engagement activities.
  • Leverage intel and insights to develop and implement an account business plan.
  • Work cooperatively with internal team members on cross‑functional projects related to specific accounts.
  • Assist in identifying and resolving issues and opportunities, communicate proactively to marketing and sales management.
  • Prepare territory budget plans for educational grants, speaker events, and other external expenditures.
  • Represent J&J at national and/or local symposiums and conventions.
