Job SummaryAir Systems is seeking a Service Account Manager that is responsible for generating new business and expanding existing client relationships through the sale of service agreements, retrofit projects, plumbing service and building automation. This role requires a strong understanding of HVAC systems and a consultative approach to selling value-based solutions. The SAM will work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of contracts and projects while maintaining accurate records in CRM systems.
Success in this position depends on excellent communication skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
- Develop new business opportunities within assigned geographic regions.
- Generate leads for service agreements, retrofits, modernization projects, plumbing service and building automation.
- Conduct customer visits, building surveys, and job walks to assess client needs.
- Prepare and present proposals, estimates, and service solutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Service Operations) to ensure seamless execution of contracts and projects.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and opportunities in CRM systems.
- Participate in contract reviews, work‑in‑progress meetings, and industry networking events.
- Minimum 5–7 years in HVAC service sales, account management, or related building systems industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Mechanical Engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent experience accepted.
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems, preventive maintenance agreements, and Building Automation.
- Proven ability to generate leads, close deals, and maintain long‑term client relationships. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to present solutions clearly and persuasively.
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.

$100,000-$120,000 annually (+ incentive eligible) based on experience.
