Base pay range: $/yr - $/yr.
ResponsibilitiesGenerate new sales revenue and oversee strategic customer accounts that grow our consultative, SaaS model business. Develop and execute a successful territory plan, engage executive customer stakeholders in mutual engagement and growth plans, and perform field‑based sales activities while engaging large government organizations in California. Build and lead relationships with enterprise clients while planning and achieving quarterly and annual sales goals.
Develop lasting relationships with multiple government executive personas and serve as a trusted advisor. Orchestrate an account strategy across a broad team that includes Solutions Architects, Marketing, and direct executive‑level support. Identify the right support resources to bring into an opportunity at the optimal time to ensure the best possible outcome.
- Minimum 3+ years of sales experience within software or solutions sales (5+ preferred)
- Demonstrated success engaging executive stakeholders
- Experience navigating complex customer interactions that may span multiple disciplines
- Demonstrated ability to generate new business, build relationships, negotiate deals, and maintain healthy C‑Level relationships
- Analytical mindset and logical planning capabilities
- Track record of consistently achieving sales targets
- Experience fostering a customer‑first focus in a "win as a team" environment
- Experience working in a high‑growth start‑up environment
- Existing network of contacts with public sector buyers is ideal
- Proximity to Sacramento, CA is required
- OTE: $150,000-$350,000; compensation depends on current book of business plus OTE and based on experience
