Sales Associate - Rocktane

Overview

The incumbent in this position is responsible for being the ultimate guide through the guests’ ROCKTANE Gas.

• Creates an atmosphere that induces guests to make ROCKTANE their choice for their gas station; responsible for actively building and retaining guest relations by providing superior guest service. Exudes Hard Rock Mottos to create excellent first and last impression for all guests.
• Provides an amplified guest service environment by focusing on the needs of internal and external guests.
• Resiliency to deal with difficult customers in all types of business conditions and the ability to work harmoniously with coworkers, Supervisors and Managers.
• Operate IT System’s (Agilysis POS, GHS Fuel Pump Software, and other gas station related equipment).
• Assist guests as needed in paying, utilizing, or answering questions.
• Accurately maintains a cash drawer.
• Welcomes and greets arriving and departing guests.
• Attends to needs of all guests within ROCKTANE in an efficient manner, and specifically follows all established safety protocol.
• Assist with selling products intended for sale in Rocktane including cigarettes, beer, wine.
• Answer questions about the property, upcoming events, contacts, and provide directions as needed.
• Maintain work area in an orderly, clean, neat manner.
• Remove trash.
• Meets Hard Rock standard for grooming, uniform or attire.
• Attend and participate in meetings, completing follow-up as assigned.
• Perform work regularly and predictably.
• Use all equipment associated with the position, including, but not limited to, gas station pumps, cash registers and computer equipment.
• Abide by all applicable Hard Rock policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Responsible for cleaning and sanitize work and public spaces.

• Attend seminars when needed.

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Cashiering/money handling experience in making accurate change in a fast-paced environment or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
• Must possess basic math skills.
• Must possess ability to maintain visual attention and mental concentration for significant periods of time.
• Must have previous cashiering experience.
• Must have exceptional guest service skills.
• Must be detail oriented.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with guests and other team members.
• Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions standing/walking for long periods of time.

• Must obtain and maintain all licenses/certifications per Federal, State, and Gaming regulations.
• Must successfully pass a background check.
• Must successfully pass a drug screen.
• Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age.

• The Rocktane is located outdoors and as such there is exposure to all weather conditions.
• Work environment includes exposure to gas and diesel fumes.
• Environment can be hectic and fast-paced.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with guests, specific to position duties and responsibilities.
