Responsibilities

  • Bag groceries at check out, ensuring contents are not damaged and striving for efficiency.
  • Follow best practices for bagging in various types of bags.
  • Assist with removing merchandise for checkout and help customers load bags into their cars.
  • Perform basic shelf conditioning and inform customers of specials.
  • Return merchandise to shelves and gather/bag/store bascarts.
  • Maintain cleanliness inside and outside the store, including spills, trash, and floors.
  • Handle seasonal merchandise and assist with store layout and product location.
  • Follow safety procedures, report unsafe conditions, and adhere to food safety regulations.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and notify management of repairs.
  • Create a welcoming environment by assisting customers and answering questions.
  • Follow all laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Work cooperatively in a fast-paced environment, manage conflicts calmly, and act with integrity.
  • Support and assist diverse customer groups, including minors, seniors, and individuals with special needs.
  • Perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodations.

    • Retail experience is a plus but not required.
