Our Supply Chain and Logistics team mission is to provide top notch service to our stores and purchasing teams- contributing to the goal to make Grocery Outlet the first choice for bargain minded customers while touching lives for the better. Our team oversees the successful movement of products from our vendors to our stores and is self-motivated, passionate, and dedicated.

We are looking for a Recon Associate to participate in our RFC operations and activities. The Recon Associate responsibilities include assembling, organizing, and packing loads. The goal is to increase efficiency, profitability and customer satisfaction. This role reports to the RFC Operations Manager.

• Prepare and apply stickers to load/outgoing product. (net weight, nutrition fact, UPC).
• Repack items to small pack size or small quantity cases.
• Assemble assorted cases based on buyer’s request (asst flavors, colors, scents, or sizes).
• Salvage Loads: sort through cases/remove damaged product.
• Build start pallets & send to stores.
• Keep clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization.
• Report any discrepancies.
• Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers.
• Operate and maintain Distribution Center vehicles and equipment.
• Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations.
• Maintains a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat;
  Sweep, dust, and mop as required.
• Always Organize Distribution Center and work area for orderliness.
• Wear the proper safety equipment.

• Base Salary Range: $20.00 hourly
• 401(k) Profit Sharing.

• Final compensation will be determined based upon experience and skills and may vary based on location.

• 1 year experience in a warehouse environment preferred but not required.
• Able to sit, stand, bend, twist, and turn body as needed for 8-10 hours per day.
• Able to lift 50 pounds without assistance.
• Physically able to operate pallet jacks.
• Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
