CompensationCompensation: $90,000 – $100,000 annually
We’re looking for an experienced and passionate Restaurant General Manager to lead our front-of-house operations and establish this restaurant as a community favorite from day one. We are an exciting new upscale yet approachable restaurant concept opening soon near Sacramento, CA
. Blending wood-fired cooking, seasonal farm-to-fork ingredients, a stellar wine list, and a curated craft beverage program, we strive to deliver a refined but welcoming dining experience. Being the leader of this exceptional restaurant will be something to take pride in and allow you to make a name for yourself.
- Lead all front-of-house operations with a focus on hospitality, consistency, and team culture
- Hire, train, and mentor the FOH staff and management team
- Partner closely with our Executive Chef to align service and kitchen operations
- Oversee a standout bar program featuring craft cocktails and a thoughtfully selected wine list
- Ensure compliance with California labor laws, tip handling, and scheduling regulations
- Manage labor costs, daily operations, floor presence, and guest satisfaction
- Foster a collaborative, professional, and guest-focused work environment
- 3+ years as a General Manager or Assistant General Manager in a full-service, upscale, or fine dining concept
- Strong understanding of California labor law and labor compliance best practices
- Proven ability to lead FOH teams, build culture, and uphold service standards
- Experience overseeing or collaborating on craft cocktail and wine programs
- Solid understanding of restaurant financials, including P&L, COGS, labor, and inventory
- Skilled in scheduling, cost control, conflict resolution, and guest relations
- Hands-on, proactive, and professional leadership style
- Full-time role
- Nights, weekends, and holidays required
- Active floor presence expected during service
- $90,000 – $100,000 annually
