Responsibilities- Assist in anesthesia induction, intubation, monitoring, and surgical preparation.
- Process and maintain diagnostic imaging (digital x-rays) and dentistry procedures.
- Perform in-house IDEXX lab work and assist with Cornerstone software (a plus).
- Exam room assisting and client communication.
- Blood draws on dogs/cats and IV catheter placement.
- Manage prescriptions as part of patient care.
- Licensed veterinary technician preferred; will consider unlicensed applicants if highly experienced.
- Must be reliable and a team player.
- Experience with anesthesia, intubation, monitoring, surgical preparation, digital radiography, dentistry, in-house IDEXX lab, and Cornerstone (a plus).
Full Time
SalaryHourly: $30 to $35/hr depending on licensure and experience. Annual equivalent: $52,000 – $62,500.
ScheduleMon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri, Sat; 8-hour shifts with overtime as needed.
BenefitsPaid vacation, holidays and other benefits negotiable.
