The Opportunity The Veterinary Assistant is a key member of the medical team at Community Spay Neuter Clinic, providing skilled technical support and compassionate patient care in a high-volume canine and feline spay/neuter environment.

This role supports surgical efficiency and patient safety from intake through recovery and discharge. The main function of this role is preparing dogs for surgery, followed by assisting with feline preparation once canine procedures are complete. This position is ideal for someone who genuinely enjoys working with dogs and is comfortable handling a wide range of canine temperaments and personalities.

While prior surgical preparation and anesthesia support experience is preferred, the clinic places a strong emphasis on attitude, teamwork, and a willingness to learn.
