• 24‑hour emergency/general practice
• 25,000 square foot state‑or‑the‑art facility with dedicated ICU, 2 surgical suites, 2 ultrasounds, spacious treatment area, and 16 exam rooms
• Radiologist capabilities for daily ultrasounds and a regularly scheduled cardiologist
• Access to a network of specialists within VCA
• Located in Sacramento, CA – one of the most diverse cities in the country, between San Francisco and Lake Tahoe, and ideal for weekend gateways

• Overnight Emergency – 3 nights per week

• A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree, from an accredited university or equivalent
• Licensure in good standing to practice in California, or the ability to obtain
• A commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics

• Salary is negotiable based on experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, and other relevant credentials. The annual salary range for this position is $180,000 to $260,000.
• This position may also be eligible for other variable pay programs.
