** 8 HOUR SHIFTS and there is call associated if cases run long. Schedules are posted for two pay periods. They will not specifically be scheduled every other weekend, it is just as needed. That is why we say we need them to cover 3 shifts on the weekend per month. # suites 4 Certs BLS- 2 years of CVOR experience minimum.
1st time travelers ok. Surgeries per day 4-6 EMR Cerner Charge Nurse Over all OR. Nurse Aides CSTs Weekend Requirement No regular weekend. 1 weekend call per month. Holidays Rotate in with core staff Scrub Color Provided Tele Yes, must be able to read and interpret EKG strips. Vents Yes-not required Surgeon available 24/7 During regular hours, call overnight and weekend.
IV Team No RT 24/7 Yes Pharmacy 24/7 Yes Call Overnight call once a week. We require all staff to cover 3 weekends days a month (1 and ½ weekends). Floor specific orientation 1 - 2 days in OR with preceptor. Common diagnosis / Types of patients CABG, valves, etc. All heart surgeries, no thoracic. Additional Notes Very busy fast paced OR.
Must have strong CVOR experience and be confident in skill.
