Overview

Sierra Vista Hospital is seeking Full-time Licensed Vocational Nurses for the Nursing Department. If you're passionate about working in the behavioral health setting and have the desire to lead a team of healthcare professionals dedicated to serving our patients, we want to hear from you!

Position Summary

The LVN performs under the direction of a Registered Nurse in providing nursing care to assigned patients, utilizing basic understanding of psychiatric and personality disorders.

Shift Availability
  • AM shift - 07:00am - 3:30pm
  • PM shift - 3:00pm - 11:30pm
  • NOC shift - 11:00pm - 7:30am
Responsibilities

Sierra Vista Hospital is seeking Full-time Licensed Vocational Nurses for the Nursing Department. If you re passionate about working in the behavioral health setting and have the desire to lead a team of healthcare professionals dedicated to serving our patients, we want to hear from you!

Qualifications
  • Education: Graduate from an accredited professional vocational school of nursing as a Licensed Vocational Nurse.
  • Experience: Minimum six (6) months as a LVN in psychiatric nursing preferred. Willing to train New Grad.
  • Licensure: Licensed to practice vocational nursing from the State Board of Nursing. Valid driver’s license preferred.
  • Additional Requirements: Must pass a medication administration exam before administering medications. CPR certification, and successful completion of the hospital’s designated behavioral and physical management training program, including de-escalation and appropriate use of seclusion and restraint required prior to assisting in the procedures. May be required to work overtime and flexible hours.
