Position Overview
UC Davis Dermatology is a major referral center offering general dermatology, Mohs surgery, phototherapy, laser surgery and tele‑derm through multiple sites. The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide direct patient care, assist with surgical procedures, manage in‑basket responsibilities, refilling prescriptions, and educate patients regarding biologic medications and wound care.

Minimum Qualifications- At least three (3) years of recent RN experience in ambulatory care or acute care.
- Valid California Registered Nurse License without restriction.
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) or UC Davis Health CPR.
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
- Recent RN procedure experience.
- Ability to read, speak, write, and understand English.
- Knowledge of current nursing trends and evidence‑based practice.
- Commitment to excellence in patient care and effective interpersonal skills.
- Ambulatory Care Nursing Certification (AMB‑BC).
- BSN.
- EPIC experience.
- Triage nursing.
- 70% – Nursing Process and Practice.
- 15% – Quality and Evidence‑Based Practice.
- 5% – Leadership.
- 5% – Professional Development.
- 5% – Research.
