Food Distribution to Support our Community

We are a Drive‑up & Walk‑up food distribution site for those in need. Whether you are a new or seasoned volunteer, we need YOU! Training is offered on‑site. Groups welcome.

IMPORTANT – Choose a shift below, and report to the location associated with the task:

Two Locations:
Sorting and Assembly: 3041 65th Street, Sacramento, CA 95820
Food Distribution, Traffic Control, and Registering Guests: 3101 Redding Avenue, Sacramento, CA 95820

Tasks may include:

• Unloading and sorting delivery
• Organizing and sorting food for freezers/fridges
• Assembling food boxes and loading food boxes in vehicles
• Assist with traffic control

Requirements:

• Volunteers must be able to lift 20–30 lbs.
• Volunteers must be able to stand for most of the shift.
• Volunteers must commit to the entire shift.
• All shirts must have a sleeve (cap sleeve, half sleeve, or full sleeve). No sleeveless or tank tops. Pants, jeans, or capri-length (no shorts above the knee). Comfortable closed‑toe shoes.
• At the distribution site, wear sunscreen, wear a hat, and bring drinking water.

Eligibility:

• Age Minimum (with Adult): 17+, Minimum Age: 18+.
• Court Ordered Volunteer – Allowed.
