Machine Assistant

Position Summary:

Assist the operator during setup which can include hanging print plates, mounting die boards, changing ink colors, washups, feeding paper into the machine while running and stacking boxes on a pallet at the end of the conveyor.

• Machine Operation & Support:
  Assist the operator with machine setup, changeovers, and troubleshooting. Monitor the line for any jams or malfunctions and report issues immediately.
• Quality Control:
  Conduct regular quality checks on products including form, fit and function.
• Material Handling:
  Load materials into the machines. Keep the work area stocked with necessary supplies such as staging pallets, load tags and dunnage.
• Safety and Sanitation:
  Adhere to all safety protocols and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Maintain a clean and organized work area by cleaning machines and disposing of waste.
• Documentation:
  Complete production logs and quality control checklists accurately and legibly. Report any downtime or production issues.

• Physical Stamina:
  Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds

  Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred
