Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work onsite with our client in Sacramento, CA
. Interested?

Here s what you d do:

• Builds up mechanical sub-assemblies and assemblies used in the production of light rail vehicles, locomotives, and coaches.
• Connects wires between individual component leads and other components, connectors, terminals, and contact points.
• Cuts wire to specified lengths and routes, combs, twists, wraps, ties, and attaches wire to terminal points.
• Disassembles, modifies, reworks, refurbishes, and reassembles as needed.
• Performs electro-mechanical production and installs parts such as, but not limited to;
  Cable harnesses, Electrical subassemblies, mechanical components, piping, and bogies.
• Performs tasks that need knowledge of a combination of production processes, operations, and equipment.
• Duties may consist of, but are not limited to, working from production blueprints, wiring diagrams, parts lists, wire lists, sketches, and verbal instructions to perform mechanical assembly operations.
• Performs work overhead.
• Identifies and reports problems to the Group Lead or Manager.
• Uses hand and power shop tools.
• Meet internal Company standards for quality and workmanship.
• Expected to contribute to and maintain conditions that will ensure a healthy and safe working environment.
• Other duties as assigned.

Pay: $21.00/hr.

Hours:

2nd shift, 2pm-10:30pm

Length:
Temp (12 months).

Required Skills /

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in mechanical assembly or production processes.

Preferred Skills /

Qualifications:

• Certification of some tools and equipment may be needed, such as, but not limited to, crane and forklift operations.
• Able to routinely interact with other employees from supporting functions.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Cross-training will be needed to cover business needs.

Additional Information:

• Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.

• Frequently needed to climb, such as, but not limited to, stairs, steps, and ladders.
• Frequently needed to work on elevated platforms.
• May be subject to working in tight spaces.
• May be requested or needed to work overtime, weekends, and different shifts from the business or customer as necessary.
