Repair Technician
Schedule:
Monday – Friday | Day Shift
Location:
Sacramento, CA
Pay: $19.00/hour
Express Employment Professionals is hiring a Repair Technician for a light manufacturing environment in Sacramento. This is a full‑time, long‑term opportunity for individuals with mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. The role involves testing, diagnosing, and repairing equipment according to specifications.
Key Responsibilities- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair heating, cooling, and electrical failures on refurbished equipment
- Read schematics and technical manuals to support repairs
- Perform testing using electrical instrumentation provided by the department
- Disassemble, clean, sanitize, and reassemble equipment
- Complete documentation and record keeping for repairs and inspections
- Follow safety guidelines and Good Manufacturing Practices
- Maintain workstation cleanliness and adhere to 5S standards
- Participate in team huddles to support performance objectives
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment with a sense of urgency
- Safely operate manual, electric, battery, and pneumatic hand tools (screwdrivers, wrenches, drills, amp meter, etc.)
- Ability to bend, stoop, and stand for prolonged periods
- Ability to lift up to 45 lbs
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Basic math skills (multiplication, division)
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office preferred
- Must pass a drug test and background check
