Overview

Electronics Technician 2 – Security and Electronic Systems (SES) business unit at M.C. Dean. Join a team of 5,800 professionals engineering, deploying, and maintaining secure power and technology systems for federal, local, and commercial customers.

Execute technical tasks in field operations: install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment and systems; conduct site surveys; configure hardware and software; test systems; provide technical support to customers.

• Follow project safety plans (JHA, AHA, PFW) and company policies.
• Read and interpret detailed drawings for constructability.
• Verify time‑sheet charges and maintain project schedules.
• Track tools, conduct inspections, and inventory daily.
• Attend daily ORM meetings to ensure safety compliance.
• Plan and assemble system raceways, cabling, racks, enclosures, panels, and ground grounding.
• Terminate, test, and configure electronic devices, networks, and IT equipment.
• Maintain communication with project teams and deliver feedback.
• Plan and prioritize tasks, embodying M.C. Dean's vision, mission, and values.

Clearance/Citizen Type: U.S. Citizenship;
Active TS/SCI with Polygraph required.

High‑school diploma or GED;
Military Electronics Training (minimum 720 classroom hours) preferred.

• 4+ years installing and maintaining electronics across multiple systems and customer programs.
• Strong oral, written, and presentation skills.
• Experience working with multidisciplinary teams.
• Time‑management and organization skills to meet deadlines and quality objectives.
• Valid driver’s license; may require use of company vehicle.

• Vendor certifications in IDS, ACS, CCTV systems (e.g., CCURE, Lenel, Identiv, Bosch).
• Graduation from an accredited Electronics Technician or Electrical Apprenticeship program.
• At least 3 years focused in electronic security systems.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
