The California Franchise Tax Board is looking for a motivated, people focused leader to manage our Sacramento Field Office. If you like balancing strategy with hands on leadership and you’re not afraid of a little complexity, this might be your next great career move.

Under the general direction of the Northern Regional Manager and as a key member of the Field Management Team you will lead the Sacramento Field Office Team responsible for providing in-person customer service and conducting proactive collections, including in-person field visits. You will:

  • Keep operations running smoothly while continuously looking for smarter, better ways to work
  • Tackle complex cases and guide staff through challenging situations
  • Use data, reports, and trends to drive decisions
  • Collaborate with partners and stakeholders to meet big picture goals
  • Build a workplace where people feel respected, supported, and motivated
  • Step in for the Regional Manager when needed and assist with hiring, training, and special projects.

You will be working closely with the Field Collection Supervisor, Public Counter Supervisor, Regional Manager, Assistant Bureau Director, and Bureau Director, aligning your team s efforts with broader organizational strategies.
