Position: Executive Director of Enrollment Systems, Analytics, & Market Intelligence

Position Overview

Executive Director of Enrollment Systems, Analytics, and Market Intelligence provides strategic and functional leadership for enrollment-related systems, data, and market intelligence to support Sacramento State’s enrollment, retention, and student success goals. The role translates enrollment management needs into actionable requirements, priorities, and use cases across the student lifecycle, in partnership with Information Resources & Technology (IRT) and Institutional Research (IR). The position leads enrollment domain work for customer relationship management (CRM) capabilities including Technolutions Slate, business process design and improvement, and market research needs.

It guides configuration, implementation, and optimization to ensure systems and workflows support institutional priorities, equity goals, and long-term enrollment sustainability. The Executive Director serves as a senior thought partner to Enrollment Management and campus leadership by translating strategy and operational needs into coordinated system, data, and workflow requirements, and by collaborating with IRT, IR, and campus governance bodies throughout design, implementation, and optimization efforts.

This role supports prioritization of enhancements, ensures data quality and usability, and promotes responsible use of enrollment data. The position exercises delegated authority within Enrollment Management while operating within campus technology, data governance, and security frameworks.

Exempt (Not eligible for overtime compensation)

Anticipated Hiring Range: $12,500 per month – $14,167 per month

CSU Classification Salary Range: $6,891 per month – $22,119 per month

Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., weekends as needed.

Required Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Higher Education Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Ten years of progressive experience leading enterprise systems, analytics, or enrollment technology initiatives in a complex organization.
  • Experience with Technolutions Slate CRM platform and system integrations.
  • Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

  • Knowledge of enterprise systems thinking and integration.
  • Knowledge of strategic use of data and analytics.
  • Demonstrated ability to integrate institutional data, external market research, and competitive intelligence into actionable analyses that shape enrollment strategy and priorities.
