Job Description and Duties

Under the supervision of the Supervising Correctional Cook and Assistant Correctional Food Manager, the Heavy Truck Driver (HTD) receives, stores, issues, and transports food products and supplies throughout Folsom State Prison (FSP). In the absence of the M&SSI, may be required to perform M&SSI duties, assist in performing Good Receipts (GR) s and other warehouse duties when needed. May be redirected to other FSP areas in emergency situations.

Individuals who are eligible for a Training and Development assignment may also be considered for this position(s).

ALL HIRES ARE SUBJECT TO HIRING FREEZE AND/OR BUDGET APPROVAL.

Working Conditions

This position works 'behind the walls' at Folsom State Prison.
