(1) One year of Janitorial experience preferred , STRIP & WAX experience a must.

The Sanitation and Floor Care Specialist will be responsible for the maintenance of all areas and for sustaining high standards of cleanliness and sanitation

Driver's License is preferred but not mandatory

• Both Full-time and Part-time
• 90% Graveyard and 10% Day shift
• Monday through Friday (weekends upon request/volunteer)

Essential Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Responsible to clean offices, hallways, common areas, and other areas as directed. Will move furniture or displays before and after cleaning as directed. Must clean, dust, and mop floors. strip and wax floors. Prepare appropriate chemicals with inventory, materials, and cleanup. Follow manufacturer specifications and operate chemical cleaning supplies accurately. Practice safety protocols by labeling chemicals correctly and escalating any issues.

Clean, maintain and store all cleaning equipment and PPE proficiently. Assist with the hazardous waste collection as requested by supervisor. Inspect floors for smoothness. When requested scrape and sand floor edges and areas inaccessible to floor sanders, using scrapers, disk-type sanders, and sandpaper. Guide floor machines over surfaces of floors until surfaces are smooth. Attach rollers on cleaning and polishing machines.

Apply filler compound and coats of finish to floors to seal wood.
