Position Title:

Law firm requires 2+ yrs. relevant PUBLIC LAW expertise/experience.

Full-time/direct-hire employment. Exempt role.

Qualifications
A successful candidate is expected to be able to advise City Councils, Planning Commissions, or other governing boards at public meetings. Candidates must have excellent academic credentials, California Bar membership, superior research and writing skills and a commitment to professional excellence.
Education:
A JD degree is required. Active and in good standing with the CA State Bar.
Responsibilities/Experience
Significant expertise in handling Land Use and CEQA matters and the ability to take the lead on complex land use projects is highly preferred. Real Estate and other transactional expertise also will be considered favorably. This position involves representing public agencies and advising clients at public meetings.
Annual Comp./Salary/Benefits:
The salary range is up to $195,000 (calculated by JD class year) plus comprehensive benefits package, generous PTO, paid parking onsite, annual reviews/bonuses, etc.
Annual Billable Hours
