• Manage all aspects of civil litigation, including drafting pleadings, motions, and briefs, conducting discovery.
• Represent clients in court, arbitration, and mediation proceedings.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to advise clients on their legal rights and obligations.
• Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients in an effort to resolve disputes favorably and cost-effectively.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of state and federal laws, court procedures, and legal precedents relevant to civil litigation.
• Collaborate with other attorneys in the firm to develop litigation strategies and ensure the best possible outcomes for clients.
• Maintain regular communication with clients, keeping them informed about the progress of their cases and advising them on potential legal risks and strategies.
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with other attorneys, judges, and court personnel.
• Participate in continuing legal education to stay updated on changes in laws and legal practices.

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in civil litigation.
• Admission to the state bar.
• Proven experience in representing clients in court and other legal proceedings.
• Excellent legal writing skills, with the ability to draft clear, concise, and persuasive legal documents.
• Strong legal research skills, with the ability to analyze complex legal issues and develop effective litigation strategies.
• Excellent negotiation skills, with a proven track record of achieving favorable settlements for clients.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients, other attorneys, and court personnel.
• High ethical standards and professional integrity.
• Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously and meet deadlines under pressure.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in legal research software and other relevant technology.
