Contract Litigation Attorney – Sacramento, CA (Hybrid)
A national law firm seeks a contract litigation attorney to support diverse civil litigation matters in our Sacramento office. The role is hybrid, requiring in‑office presence as needed.
Location: Sacramento, CA 95826
Duration: Ongoing, potentially 6+ months with a possibility of direct hire (Concurrent employment not permitted)
Base pay range: $65.00/hr – $75.00/hr
Qualifications:
- Active California bar license in good standing
- 1+ year of experience in insurance defense and/or other defense‑side litigation
Duties (including but not limited to):
- Drafting discovery, preparing expert disclosures, and covering simple depositions
- Conducting legal research, briefing, procedure, and advocacy preparations
- Potentially assisting a partner in jury trial cases when available
