We are seeking a skilled and experienced Personal Injury Associate Attorney to join our legal team in Sacramento, CA. The ideal candidate will have experience handling complex litigation and personal injury cases, with a strong focus on Plaintiff-side tort litigation, including wrongful death, dangerous property conditions, and trip-and-fall cases.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain effective and timely communication with clients, addressing concerns and providing status updates throughout the litigation process.
- Stay up-to-date with evolving laws, statutes, and precedents impacting complex litigation and personal injury cases.
- Independently handle complex legal issues and effectively pursue informal resolution tactics when applicable.
- Attend client meetings, events, and maintain relationships with clients, team members, and external partners.
- Provide mentorship and collaborate with team members to ensure consistent high-quality outcomes for clients.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
- Admission to the California State Bar and in good standing.
- 2-5 years of experience practicing law, with experience in Plaintiff-side tort litigation, including wrongful death, dangerous property conditions, and trip-and-fall cases preferred.
- Strong research, analytical, and drafting skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while also contributing as part of a collaborative team.
- High ethical standards and commitment to professional conduct.
- Certifications or affiliations with professional organizations preferred.
- Arbitration and mediation experience is preferred.
