As our Sacramento office continues to grow, we are actively looking to hire an experienced attorney (Senior Associate or Senior Counsel, depending on experience) with a minimum of 5+ years of employment litigation experience (management‑side) to join a tight‑knit group of dedicated and diverse professionals. This attorney will work on litigation and non‑litigation matters for a diverse range of clients, from regional businesses to Fortune 500 corporations.
The position is full‑time, available in‑office or hybrid, with a typical billed hour requirement of 1,800 hours, flexible and subject to negotiation. Salary ranges from $180,000 to $310,000 depending on experience and billed hours, with excellent benefits.
The ideal candidate will be a confident self‑starter eager to learn, take on challenging work, and gain supervision and client contact opportunities. The attorney will collaborate and make strategic decisions in consultation with relationship partners, execute on those decisions, manage matters, direct defense discovery efforts, take and defend depositions (including the plaintiff’s deposition), and handle a variety of litigated and non‑litigated matters.
Ample training and mentorship by partners will be provided.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in labor and employment law litigation in California.
- Class action experience preferable.
- Highly motivated with excellent writing, analytical, and people skills.
- Ability to supervise and manage junior attorneys, work well with clients, and independently manage significant litigation matters.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus.
- Juris Doctor with a strong academic record.
- Licensed to practice law and in good standing in the state of California.
