Litigation Paralegal

A well-established legal practice with a strong reputation for excellence is seeking a Litigation Paralegal to join their Sacramento office. This is a full-time, onsite opportunity to work alongside a collegial and highly skilled legal team that is dedicated to providing high-quality client service and fostering long-term professional growth.

As the firm continues to expand, this newly created position offers the chance to step into a stable environment with a strong sense of collaboration and purpose.

You’ll work directly with a close-knit team of attorneys and paralegals focused exclusively on litigation matters. The role involves supporting attorneys through every stage of litigation, from case intake to trial preparation and resolution.

Draft pleadings and litigation documents, including complaints, answers, motions, discovery requests/responses, and trial briefs

Prepare pre-trial materials such as exhibit and witness lists and trial binders

Manage discovery process and document organization

Track and calendar court deadlines; handle court filings and service of process

Review and summarize legal, medical, and financial records

Conduct legal research in accordance with state and local court rules

Coordinate depositions, mediations, and court reporting logistics

Communicate with clients, witnesses, and opposing counsel professionally

Maintain accurate time entries for billable and non-billable work

Must-Have

Qualifications:

Experience supporting litigation matters in a law firm environment

Steady employment history and interest in a long-term role

High level of accuracy, organization, and initiative

Monday to Friday, approximately 8:00/8:30 AM to 5:00/5:30 PM

Business casual dress code

Salary range: $80,000 – $100,000, depending on experience

Quarterly and year-end bonus opportunities

Billable hour expectation capped at 1,500 annually
