An established California law firm is seeking an experienced Land Use Attorney to join its team in Sacramento. This is a hybrid position offering a balance of remote and in-office work. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in land use and municipal law, with experience advising public entities and private clients on a wide range of planning, zoning, and development matters.

• Provide legal counsel on land use, zoning, planning, and development issues.
• Advise clients on compliance with CEQA, NEPA, and other environmental and regulatory requirements.
• Draft and review ordinances, resolutions, staff reports, and other legal documents.
• Represent clients in administrative hearings, public meetings, and court proceedings as needed.
• Collaborate with city and county staff, planning commissions, and other public agencies.

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Active member of the California Bar in good standing (required).
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in land use, municipal, or environmental law.
• Strong understanding of CEQA, planning and zoning laws, and local government operations.

$140,000–$250,000 per year, based on geography, experience, and qualifications.
