The ideal candidate will have a strong background in public law and a deep understanding of the unique legal challenges faced by public entities. Municipal Attorney Requirements:

• 3+ years experience in general muncipal law working with cities, counties, special districts, local and state government agencies
• Advise on open government issues (Brown Act, Conflicts of Interest, Public Records Act)
• Manage construction and contracting matters both transactional and litigation as needed
• High-level analystical skills, writing skills and communication
• Must be a self-starter with strong organizational skills
• Strong academic background and ABA-accredited law school
• Licensed in CA in good standing
