We are looking for an experienced Litigation Associate with 2+ years wage-hour class action claims experience.
Job DetailsWe are seeking a permanent Wage-Hour Employment Litigation Associate to provide exceptional legal services in wage-hour and employment litigation. The role offers an opportunity to work on high-profile cases and engage in complex litigation.
Responsibilities- Represent clients in all stages of wage-hour and employment litigation, including pre-litigation investigation and negotiations, drafting pleadings, discovery, and trial.
- Conduct thorough investigations into potential wage-hour violations and PAGA cases.
- Develop and implement litigation strategies to achieve successful outcomes.
- Draft and argue motions, take and defend depositions, and negotiate settlements.
- Maintain proactive client communication to provide updates and counsel.
- Participate in educational programs and materials on wage-hour laws.
- Stay up-to-date on developments in wage-hour laws, court decisions, and regulatory changes.
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the California state bar in good standing.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in wage-hour and employment litigation, including class action law, civil litigation, wage-hour disputes, PAGA cases, and class action lawsuits.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a deep understanding of wage-hour laws.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Proven track record of successfully managing multiple cases and projects simultaneously.
- Demonstrated commitment to public interest law, workers’ rights, and social justice.
- Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
