Manager, Enterprise Cores and Applications
Sacramento, CA - 2 days onsite
We are hiring a Manager for one of our Financial Services clients in the Sacramento area. This is a hybrid role requiring 2 days a week onsite. The right candidate will have Core banking technical depth and strong people leadership skills. This role sits within the Business Services organization and provides both technical oversight and people leadership for the team supporting their DNA core banking platform.
Role OverviewSeeking a seasoned people leader with strong experience in core banking platforms (any platform is acceptable—Fiserv/DNA experience is preferred but not required). This leader will oversee a team of Business Systems Analysts who support DNA, troubleshoot operational issues for business users, and participate in corporate and departmental projects. This is a high volume, high visibility, high pressure environment that requires exceptional communication skills, strong follow through, and the ability to translate technical information into clear business language for senior leadership.
KeyRequirements
- Minimum 3 years of people leadership experience (must be a true people leader, not a lead or senior IC)
- Experience managing teams supporting core banking platforms (DNA preferred, but Jack Henry, Fiserv, or other core systems are acceptable).
- Ability to oversee technical work, understand system configuration, and guide BSA teams (hands on DNA configuration experience is a plus, not a requirement)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; must be able to communicate technical issues to business leaders
- Ability to operate in a fast paced, high demand environment with heavy email volume, meetings, and shifting priorities
- Strong leadership presence, relationship building skills, and ability to influence across operations and IT.
