Scopeof Work
Capio Group is seeking a Senior Enterprise Architect to provide Enterprise Architecture (EA) services to operate strategically and provide industry subject matter expertise. The role requires knowledge of governance, enterprise architecture strategy, development and management, business process design and reengineering, and support for aligning business strategy with processes and information technology strategy. At the client’s discretion, the Senior Enterprise Architect will provide services tailored to support various project and initiative objectives, which may include, but are not limited to:
Responsibilities- Strategic Alignment
- Establish connections with existing roadmaps to align project objectives with broader strategic objectives.
- Facilitate, create, and maintain project and initiative–specific deliverables such as plans and roadmaps tailored to project needs and goals.
- Proactively identify and plan for new enterprise or shared services to support project requirements and scalability for enterprise needs.
- Strategic Support
- Guide and support the project's strategic vision, collaborating with cross-functional teams to anticipate and adapt to changes throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure alignment between the project architecture and the business strategy, planned IT solutions, and enterprise shared services.
- Guide and contribute to the creation of enterprise architecture models that reflect business objectives and map data and technology to support these goals.
- Collaborate with product discovery teams to understand emerging product needs that can support the project's initiatives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business process improvements and reengineering opportunities.
- Evaluate the integration of existing and new products, define their roles within the overall architecture, and identify requirements for potential enterprise or shared services.
- Assess current and future technologies required to meet project goals, in alignment with the broader enterprise, and coordinate IT governance approvals.
- Foster strong working relationships with internal business programs and product managers.
- Utilize project management tools and standards for effective communication and project management.
- Utilize client modeling tools and standards for the development of enterprise architecture artifacts.
- Adhere to product delivery standards, methods, and practices (including Agile methodologies such as Scrum, SAFe, and Kanban), and provide strategic support to internal teams and vendor partners.
- Contribute to governance processes, including enterprise and IT governance, to ensure alignment with project objectives.
- Create and contribute to the development of enterprise architecture framework, guidelines, and standards.
- Architecture Assurance
- Conduct and document evaluations of proposed solution architectures and project artifacts to validate alignment with the client’s EA approach and standards.
- Document architecture assurance findings in the enterprise architecture repository.
- Ensure project architecture alignment with state and federal compliance requirements and the architectural frameworks (MITA).
- Ensure adherence of project artifacts to established repository standards and processes.
- Facilitate communication and usage of the enterprise architecture repository to the project team.
- Within the last 10 years, a minimum of seven (7) years of full-time equivalent experience applying Enterprise Architecture principles. At least five (5) years in a lead capacity.
