Jr. Analyst/Conversion (Data Migration and Data Conversion)

The Conversion Analyst is responsible for planning, executing, and validating data migration activities to support the successful implementation of ERP systems. This role works closely with functional and technical teams to ensure that legacy data is accurately extracted, transformed, and loaded into the new ERP environment, meeting business and system requirements while ensuring data integrity and compliance.

• Analyze source data from legacy systems and map it to target ERP structures
• Develop data conversion strategies, schedules, and test plans in coordination with project teams
• Design and document data extraction, transformation, and load (ETL) processes
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to validate data requirements and conversion rules
• Perform data cleansing and transformation to ensure accuracy and consistency
• Conduct mock conversions and support data validation during system testing and user acceptance testing (UAT)
• Identify and resolve data quality issues, discrepancies, and gaps throughout the migration lifecycle
• Maintain detailed documentation of conversion processes, mappings, and validations for audit and support purposes

• Participate in defining conversion requirements
• Participate in data mapping, conversion strategy decisions, and other tasks necessary to create the Data Mapping documentation
• Plan and execute conversion system test to verify software components that transform, edit and load data to the operational data stores
• Participate in the resolution of data fallout and reconciliation discrepancies
• Support Data Validation, Dry Run Testing, and cutover activities as assigned
• Support post-conversion manual data cleanup activities based on data cleansing fallout reports
