Information Technology Specialist I – JC-504139

Join the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) as an Information Technology Specialist I (ITS I). The ITS I serves as a technical business analyst and scrum leader, writing technical user stories, working with Product Owners, and acting as liaison between business and the technical team for mission‑critical applications and systems. This hybrid telework position is in Sacramento County and is permanent, full‑time.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, support, and administer software design and development for CDPH’s enterprise platform services in a Dev Ops environment.
  • Write technical user stories and collaborate with Product Owners to understand business requirements.
  • Act as liaison between business stakeholders and the technical team to ensure alignment on application and system objectives.
  • Lead and/or direct projects involving application and database development, technical system configuration, performance tuning, and problem resolution.
  • Maintain low‑code/no‑code platform systems and/or software applications.
